hand-knit cowl: recycled-wool

This hand-knit cowl is the perfect piece for fall and winter and is one of the many items in our collection that represents our commitment to reducing waste and limiting our negative impact on the earth.

To make this unique hand-knit garment, we unravel used and discarded sweaters in order to harvest the yarn. We then wash and dry the yarn and spin it into new skeins. From there we knit our recycled yarn into a long circular tube. The process is long but rewarding. The result is a beautiful, stylish, multi-functional, and eco-friendly item that keeps you warm and looking good. Wear it as a scarf, a neck warmer, a hood, a skirt, or find your own way to wear it.

Available in Charcoal tones, Brown tones, or Black. Due to the nature of the yarn and the fact that we are using vintage materials to create this piece, please note that color and texture will vary slightly from one cowl to the next.
